This is the interior of Chalet Gstaad, a chalet property located in the Swiss Alps. It is a ontweerp of Laurence Rouveure of Ardesia Design in collaboration with the architects of Amaldi Lower Architects. As you would expect from a chalet property is the interior warm and cozy with use of natural colors and soft textures such as linen and wool. De interieur ontwerper heeft gefocussed om pure en strakke lijnen te creeeren om een mooi geheel van de 380m2 grote chalet woning te maken.
Warm and cozy chalet interior
As said there are a lot of natural colors and materials used. The walls are covered with Australian wood, while the floor from Danish shelves or 15 meters long. The living room is equipped with a cozy fireplace. In the bedrooms you will see many fabrics like wool and cashmere. These make the interior a little bit warmer and cozier. In the bathroom is actually the least wood. Instead it is the bathroom with tadlakt walls, which, moreover, also be a natural, but cool appearance.
The furniture used in the interior of the chalet house is a mix of new, modern and traditional pieces that come from different countries in Europe.
