Cube architects sent us a special project they have recently realized for a client. It is a monumental canal house located on the Kovenieursburgwal in Amsterdam that the architects have been renovated and have decorated the interior again. The property was a former shop and has already transformed once a typical loft. This time had to be some new elements added, which had to be authentic details intact kept. Level differences in interior
We proposed 1 new element which were integrated kitchen and dining table and that adapts to the space and routing of the apartment. In addition, the floor with a number of different levels into a lounge area on the canal where it can be next to the kitchen island in the evening sun drinking a wine. A new wardrobe emphasizes the connection of the front and rear of the apartment and the patio is more concerned by a hard stone floor of the patio in the home by pulling at the house. Old floorboards mixed with modern
The floor of the room is made up of several old floorboards that together a raw and most vibrant radiance.
